When you shop around for top paying keywords, you will find yourself faced with such list providers who sell data based on Overture's bid estimates. They think that if the bids are high in Overture then they must be in Google,
too, and they leave it at that. Most likely they do this because the learning of Overture's bid tool is much easier to get at and understand than Google's.

But things are not that straightforward. Not only that, but such
naive thinking can end up costing you a lot in terms of AdSense revenues plus or minus.

Let's look at an example to see how these two services really compare.

Now if you were going to choose the best top paying keyword
phrase from this list, which one would you pick?

Going by Overture's bids, 'settlement funding' would be the clear winner. But once you ran AdSense ads for this
phrase, your results would be quite disappointing. After all, the top paying advertiser is spending no more than $22.96 in Google's system - the one that powers AdSense!

To make matters worse, if you saw these words in a large list of top paying keywords that went strictly by Overture's bids, you would end up 'leaving money on the table', since
you would miss out on targeting high paying term like 'home equity line'.

According to Google, these keywords are a lot more profitable than what Overture shows them to be.

So, you should go by Google's results, not Overture's, if you want to have a more accurate picture for your top bid
estimates. So, if you are familiar with how to get bid estimates from Google's traffic estimator, then be sure to also check the bid prices for exact matches (e.g., [home equity line]),since exact matches tend to be higher in price than the other match types, and they are often used in AdSense.

3 Practical Models To Quickly Earn and Maximize Google Adsense Revenue as a Publisher

 

Looking back in time, I could still remember standing in awe and reading the exploits of one adsense publisher who was starting a membership service for people keen to maximise their earnings as a google adsense publisher. He claimed to be making over $40K a month from his google adsense revenue and an almost equal amount from affiliate products. In my mind, I could not help but believe that if he could be so successful, I could also be successful...and everyone can also be equally successful in developing content websites and allowing google adsense to be published on these websites. Months followed later where I carried out research on Google Adsense, talked to people who were successful publishers, joined a couple of memberships sites myself, read a few ebooks on the subject, spent hundreds of dollars on tools and webpage generating software...the whole works. My aim was simple - uncover the successful methods and make at least one of these techniques as mine and be equally successful , if not better. What were my results? Briefly, there were 3 models that could lead to success. There might be more, but these 3 models figured prominently as I carried out my personal private research. The Content Model ---------------------------------- In the content model, a mini site is developed for a niche project. Generally, you would find the keywords for niche topics with a low R/S value, build a theme around these keywords and work out a mini website of around 20 to 50 pages. The key to such a website is written content. In many cases, I found reprint rights articles were also used and these were also sites that were successful in bringing in consistent traffic and revenue. Each page is normally written around just one keyword and the entire webpa ge is tightly SEOed (search engine optimized). THE SINGLE-PAGE MODEL -------------------------------------- In the second model, a one page article forms the website with google adsense on that article.In order to feature prominently, website promotion is necessary for this model. This is effected by submitting articles using automated softwares and gathering links in return. There were reports that this model is successful, however I did not receive figures to substantiate this claim nor have seen any figures. THE NUMBERS GAME MODEL --------------------------------------- This is by far the model that was reported to be widely successful. This model is based on the concept of " Build, Build and Build!". In other words, an incessant non-stop drive to keep on building websites and treating the business as stricly one of providing workable content sites for publishing adsense. However, care must be exercised at all times to follow Google Adsense Terms of Service. A prominent feature of this model was to use some form of auto generating software such as softwares that can genera te directories or portals, the use of RSS and blogging to maintain and update the sites on a daily basis or a series of rotating templates. Care must also be keenly exercised that the sites must have content, and not merely appear spammy with results scrapped from search engines. One piece of advice from a veteran adsense publisher was that he would run over his sites such that he was clearly satisfied that the web pages were actually pleasing to a visitor and that the webpages were designed for humans. Oft en quoted by proponents of Model 3 is that the key to maximizing google adsense revenue and indeed affiliate revenue was to engage in a "numbers game". The more websites you build and commission, the higher is the revenue provided your keyword research is well done. In one case, one publisher claimed that his 65 years old mother could also work on this model by using a RSS system and was earning a good income just a few weeks into the model. Which of the three models is applicable and useful to you? Are you in for the long term as a serious adsense publisher? Above all these, you will need a compilation of good resources to assist you in your business as an adsense publisher. Gather the correct resources, personalize the good information and keep working on your model until you reach a good measure of success. Be of good faith, do not falter and you will reach success.

Welcome to Day #1 of your 10 day Niche Blog Challenge.

Today, you'll take the first step - and create your
blog.

 Update: The demand has been overwhelming - and we have
 over 100 members registered.  Experience tells me not
 all will follow through - but there will be some tweaks
 made to the process to accomodate the bigger group - so
 please bear with me if there are any problems.

 Plus, I've allocated a 'marketing' budget for this project
 - so if you complete the 10 days, at worst, you'll
 enjoy some fruits from this expenditure :)

Step #1 - Pick a niche

This can be anything you like or know or feel will work.
There are many different ways to choose a profitable
niche, but I won't get into details here.

You can find some valuable material about picking a
niche on the 'Niche Marketing Forum' here:

Once you've chosen a niche to use in the 10 day challenge,
do some basic keyword research to find the top keyword
phrase in your chosen niche.

A useful tool for this is 'Niche Bot'

Take note of the top 5 to 10 keywords or phrases in your
niche, ranked by popularity of search and degree of
competitiveness.  For more details, check out the forum
mentioned above.


Step #2 - Set up your blog

I strongly recommend you use Blogger.com for this 10
day project - but if you insist on using another blog
software, I can't stop you :)

Why Blogger.com?

Many reasons.  But most important is because I'm going
to give you a ready-made Adsense template for Blogger
that has brought me a high clickthrough rate on Adsense
ads over the past few months.

By using that same template on your blog, you too can
enjoy the fruits of all my testing and tweaking.

Also, the pre-done template includes links to other
sections of the project - and if you create your own
template, you'll have to make sure all these are also
duplicated on your blog too.

How to set up your Blogger.com blog?

First, go to http://www.Blogger.com

If this is your first time there, take a few minutes to
and do the QUICK TOUR.  It will give you a nice overview.

Then, register for an account and set up your blog.

You'll have to choose a blog title and your preferred
blog address.  Try and get your primary keyword in both.

Choose the 'Minima' template, the first one on the top
left.

Then make your first post - just a short test message
will do.


Step #3 - Register Your Niche Blog

We require that you REGISTER your newly created niche
blog so that you may enjoy all the search engine
benefits that come from the linking and promoting
strategy I will be implementing 'behind the scenes'
for this project.

Once you are registered, your blog will be added to
the directory of sites participating in this 'challenge'
- and be featured on a page which will get links from
many high traffic and high PR sites.

To register your niche blog, please go to:

In the form, type in your Blogger.com blog URL (typically
http://______ . blogspot.com ), your primary keyword, and
a short 30 to 50 word description of your blog.

Click on the SUBMIT button below, and then, on the next
page, CLICK ON THE BUTTON to complete your registration.
This last step is important - please don't miss it!


Step #4 - Get your Google Adsense account

If you already have a Google Adsense account, you may
use it (maybe set up a 'channel' specifically for this
project to track progress)

If you are new to Google Adsense, you'll see a short
tutorial about it within your Blogger.com account.  Go
through it to understand the basics.

You can even apply for an account right from there, and
since Blogger.com is owned by Google, you'll almost
instantly be approved - and get your code to insert
into your blog.


Step #5 - Customize Your Blog Template

First, go to this website:

http://www.EzineMarketingCenter.com/10dayblog/template.htm

In the box, type in your Google Adsense ID (only the string
of 16 numbers, WITHOUT the 'pub-' prefix.

Click on the button to generate your template code.

On the next screen, highlight all the code in the box and
copy it.

Log in to your Blogger.com account.

Click on the CHANGE SETTINGS tab beside the name of your
niche blog (it's the BLUE wheel icon!)

On the next screen, click on the TEMPLATE tab.

Delect all code inside the box, and then copy and paste
all the code from the form where you customized your
template.

Click on SAVE TEMPLATE CHANGES, and then REPUBLISH your
blog to see the changes.

Now, when you view your blog, you should see the changes
you just made reflected on your blog.  You should have
Adsense ads showing up, and a HELP SPREAD CHD AWARENESS
button on the right side of your blog.

If everything looks ok, GREAT.  If there's a problem, like
your Adsense ads not displaying correctly, PLEASE WAIT.
It sometimes takes a few hours for the ads to show up.

If things still don't look good after a while, you can
either repeat the process to make sure you haven't made
any mistakes, or post a note on the forum to seek help.


Step #6 - Add a Stats Counter

To help track how well your blog is performing, here's
where you can get a web page counter without paying for
it.

Install it on your blog, so you can see how your visitor
count grows over time.

So how exactly do you make substantial profits on the Internet?

Well there are literally thousands of ways to earn a living online.
But many of those require things that you and I would never have

just a one-man business and I'm guessing that you are too.

So with that in mind I am going to show you a very powerful way to
make profits online. With this extremely powerful method, your
profit making potential is limitless.


-Intro to Affiliate Programs-

I know many of you are making great profits using affiliate
programs, but I need to explain what they are and the power they
hold so that everybody is on the same level for the next few
lessons.

If you haven't discovered affiliate programs on the Internet yet,
you are missing out on an extremely powerful profit-making source.

So what the heck are affiliate programs and how do they work?

Affiliate programs can vary from website to website, but the main
idea behind affiliate programs is that a website will pay you for
sending them buying customers.

You send people to a website, if they buy something from that
website you get a cut of the purchase.

You will usually be paid either a percentage of the sale or a flat
rate.

Here is a random list of websites that have affiliate programs. The
dollar amount shows how much ONE SINGLE PERSON is earning every

may think all of this is outrageous, but trust me; there are tons
of people out there just like you and I that are utilizing
affiliate programs on the Internet and making huge profits from
them.

How can all this be possible? The Internet of course!!! It's
possible to advertise to hundreds of millions of people worldwide
with the single click of the mouse button. The Internet is probably
the most powerful marketing tool in the history of the world. Best
of all anyone can use this powerful marketing tool. Anyone with a

and the opportunity to convert sales on a very large scale.

It is becoming very evident that affiliate programs will have a
huge role in the future of the Internet. Billions if not Trillions
of dollars are spent through online purchases every year, and this
number will continue to increase at an amazing rate.

It is also forecast that within 2-3 years, 50% of all online sales
will be made through the help of affiliate programs. You don't have
to be good with math to figure out that there is an enormous
opportunity waiting to be tapped.

But don't wait, act now!! Now is the best
time to get rolling, if you can establish your self with online
affiliate programs now, you will have good positioning to just sit
back and watch your profits increase as the Internet continues to
grow, which is inevitable.

Now I'm going to tell you the best part about affiliate programs.
Once you get everything up and running, you can basically sit back
and let the computers and the Internet do everything for you

Well if you get to read this, I'd like to let you know that one of the ways that I have been adding to my Multiple Streams of Income is by creating sites, with Adsense.

My efforts haven't been fantastic but I endeavour to carry on by finding Niche subjects and building sites, which I hope offer quality content and provide links to other resources.

I've also been using a software called Hypervre found here http://tinyurl.com/gsn4e which is a $167 Web page creation tool. You tap in the Keywords (sub keywords found by software) , add your adsense, add your Clickbank, Amazon & Paydotcom IDs (Gold Users only), add your RSS feeds (found by the software)and press the button. Now that is the idiot's guide way of doing it but it is so much more powerful than that. The best thing - which I like best - is that it's 100% F.REE. And I like Free!!! You can upgrade and that gives you more options, but when you edit the templates, the possibilities are endless - literally.

Oh well, this is my first real blog and it's back to work for me. I've really enjoyed sharing my efforts at online marketing with you, there's loads more that I have in the pipeline to share so I'll catch you later.
